Quite a story. The day I was in Bangkok during February the Presidential palace was closed due to red shirt activity. The situation seemed dicey, but nowhere near what you saw.

PM Abhisit apparently said he will hold elections in October, which is earlier than he originally promised, but the Red Shirts apparently still aren’t happy.

Eek! Good thing you got out safe!

CNN doesn’t generally cover Asian news (sadly.), unless it’s CNN Asia. I think the BBC and Al Jazeera are both better when it comes to reporting stuff from Asia, particularly SEA.

Congrats on your new guitar though. Post vid of you playing it!
