I have no idea how it’s been over a year since I last left the country, but alas, that is the case. The last month has been absolutely insane. I’ve shot a tv pilot, driven desolate freeways, ran into major technical problems, and am now leaving for Bali, Indonesia where I’ll spend the next month hanging out with the Tropical MBA crew before doing some backpacking around the region. I’ve been itching for an adventure, and I think this trip is definitely going to provide that. One of the great things about computers and the internet these days is the fact you don’t have to be an expert at web development to make all kinds of web sites. Things like WordPress, Dreamweaver, self installers, and plugins basically do all of the work for you. It’great! Well, you know, until it’s not. We’ve found ourselves in an era where there’s a tutorial or a how-to on just about every subject imaginable online. Couple that with an in depth knowledge base or support community, and it makes it really easy to tackle a project that you should have no earthly business dealing with.
