Nice!!

I also wanted to add to the list, ‘an instant quick fix of self esteem!’
I’m not (yet) a blogger, so perhaps my brain is wearing rose-tinted glasses,
(hm, maybe I should photoshop an image of that..)
but I love the idea that, on a shitty day when not much has gone right and perhaps I’ve spent a little too much time on the sofa eating crisps, I could leap athletically over to the computer, send out a post (about my anguish, or possibly how good my favourite brand of crisps are). Then, at the end of the day instead of reflecting on having achieved absolutely nothing, and thus feeling worse into the bargain, I would instead be reminding myself that I put my words out there for people to read, touched other’s lives, maybe even made them laugh – just contributed, somehow, to life and to the world.
Well, unless no bugger reads it.

This seems like a pretty good list. I don’t think mainstream society has quite realized the extent to which blogs are useful/amazing. The biggest thing I’ve gotten out of them is an incredible amount of knowledge straight from industry leaders. They’re an amazing way for people to spread knowledge that seems to be amazingly under-realized. I’ve found through my own that they can be used as an incredible resource for people struggling through certain circumstances to get the knowledge they need (preparing for/recovering from major surgery in my case).
